“Andrea has helped me so much with my 12-year old son! Before, it was almost daily battles for control/meltdowns in my house. The modules and weekly calls really helped me learn to relate and collaborate with my child with HFA/ADHD in a way that’s better for both him and me. In the past 6 months, we’ve tackled some pretty big issues/situations that definitely would not have turned out as good as they did were it not for Andrea’s training.”

I feel like a have such a better understanding of him that guides my own actions to help him so much more effectively. I love the way you reach the heart when you teach, and you give another perspective for ASD. My stress is down, my confidence is up. I see big changes in my son which is exciting and so many areas of family life have improved. What a gift this has been in our lives.

I am so touched that I came to tears.
Thank you so much for the ideas, because they are great. I had not thought about those separate steps or the pressure he may be feeling or trying the environment, at those times I realize that the hyper focus can be mine. Thank you really. I am a solo mother who depends on a network that does not understand and does not accept that he has autism.

As a physician, I explored every scientific option to find out how I could make my son's life better I took courses, read articles, attended seminars You name it I did it. Before the APS program, no one was able to help me pull it together to make it practical so I could apply it to real life. The program offered not only helpful strategies but also new perspectives that help me understand and relate better to my son. The frequency and severity of his aggressive outbursts have decreased significantly. He and I have a better understanding of each other and a better relationship overall. I have become a better advocate and voice for him until he gains full speech. The program leader meets you where you are and offers very practical ways to troubleshoot challenges. APS helped me be relieved of my dreaded parental guilt and has made me feel successful!! And most importantly, my son is happier as a result of our mutual growth.

I recently completed this program and it has transformed our lives! I was feeling so overwhelmed and desperate to figure out a way to create a calmer, more supportive environment, not only for my son's optimal development and security, but for my mental and physical health as well! The tools and skills Andrea presents are simple, practical and centered around where your child is at and what they need in order to learn the skills they are lacking. The program is layered with information along with a network of other parents with autistic kids, and private coaching sessions as well. The feedback and continual support is invaluable. I can't recommend the program enough!

When I started the program, my two autistic children were having daily outbursts and meltdowns. The daily struggles led to almost unbearable stress that kept compounding. I have seen great changes in my children as well as in myself. I am able to support them more effectively, my parenting stress has been dramatically reduced and my confidence in parenting has skyrocketed. The instructor cared deeply about finding solutions to my issues, and I appreciated being able to ask anything without judgment. It’s such a beautiful experience to be in this program and I thank God for giving me this opportunity. I have now found the solutions I’ve been seeking.
Before this program, my stress level was consistently high and I was having a difficult time communicating and connecting with my son. The APS program has been life changing for both me and my son. He is opening up
again and I have learned to be patient and accepting of him on an entirely new
level.
The APS program offered a simple and clear approach by providing insights and practical mindset shifts. It offered just the right balance between the topics introduced in the modules and coaching on how to apply the
concepts to current challenges.
APS has helped me to lean in to and listen to my son more closely and trust my own intuition and confidence as a parent. Through the years I read dozens of articles and books and none could even come close to what I learned with Andrea’s help. I know no matter what the next parenting milestone is with my son I am better equipped to handle it.
We learned so many practical and applicable everyday tools and feel immensely more confident moving forward. But most importantly, for the first time as parents of a special needs child, we felt seen.

The Program taught me that I can aim for progress and also be happy with whatever my son achieves. Loving and accepting your child exactly as they are AND wanting more for them are not conflicting ideas. The Program woke me up to a better reality, where I can help my child be who he can be, without fear. Combining these new ideas with all of the clear strategies and tools that I know how to USE has already made big improvements in our lives and I feel so optimistic about the future.

It helped us to take the emotion out of each situation a bit so critical thinking can happen, and the follow-up of participating to give us a chance to verbally work through ideas and solutions was really helpful. It also creates a sense of community we all need to feel because everyone is in the same boat trying to figure these situations out together.

I enjoyed this Program tremendously because the topics were well thought out, practical and helpful and I enjoyed the non-judgmental and open discussions. It is so helpful that the advice is from a parent in the same situation - someone who has actually implemented these strategies day in and day out.
The real case examples, videos and learning activities were extremely valuable. The information and examples were broken down so well and made me really reflect on my interventions. I love that you give examples and then you explain all the different ways you can apply the lessons from those examples to different situations and children.
Thank you so much for the ideas, because they are great. I had not thought about those separate steps or the pressure he may be feeling. I now realize that the hyper focus was my issue. Thank you really. I am a solo mother who depends on a network that does not understand and does not accept that he has autism. And I need to do everything myself, so I look for as much information as possible to help.

I appreciated the non-judgmental exploration of parenting stress and that the program addressed the parent’s mindset. The advice was practical and so valuable because it was offered by a parent who had been through the same situation. I appreciated everyone's input and examples which made me feel not alone in what I'm coping with.
